Congress’ Acharya appointed Minister, Yadav’s ministry changed

KATHMANDU: Surendra Raj Acharya, the head of the Nepali Congress, has been named as a minister.

Acharya was named Minister of Women, Children, and Senior Citizens by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.

His swearing-in ceremony will take place today after 12:30 p.m. at the President Office Sheetal Niwas.

Mahendra Raya Yadav of the Nepal Samajwadi Party, who is handling the responsibility of the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens after Acharya became the Minister, has been entrusted with the Ministry of Water Supply.
