KATHMANDU: The treatment of three people injured in the Simrik Air chopper crash has begun at Mediciti Hospital in Lalitpur.
They were flown to Mediciti by a Nepal Army chopper.
The crash injured Captain Surendra Poudel, co-pilot Chiring Bhote, another assistant Manoj Thapa, and Nepal Electricity Authority employee Bikram Shankar.
According to DSP Birendra Godar of the District Police Office Sankhuwasabha, the chopper crashed into a tree today at 1:10 p.m. in Hammaredanda of Hatia Sikprung, Bhotkhola Rural Municipality-4.
Bhabin Gurung, a resident of Sankhuwasabha, died in the crash. The deceased Gurung was working as a helper of chopper.
