KATHMANDU: Three of the five people injured in the Simrik Air chopper crash have been flown to Kathmandu from Sankhuwasabha.

They were transported to Kathmandu by Nepal Army chopper for further treatment.

They had previously been transported to Tumlingtar in Sankhuwasabha. Following an initial health check-up by the army, three people were flown to Kathmandu. One of the remaining two people has been sent to Khandbari Hospital in stable condition.

According to the Assistant Chief District Officer Mohman Mani Ghimire, arrangements are being made to flown him to Kathmandu by seeing the health condition of his.

He further stated that one seriously injured is being transported by road from Tumlingtar to District Hospital Khandbari.

According to sources, one of the badly injured being transported to Khandbari by road has passed away, but the doctor has yet to make a formal declaration.
