President Ram Chandra to bears his own medical expenses

KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Poudel has announced that he will bear the expenses of his treatment himself.

President Ram Chandra Poudel, who was confined to the TU Teaching Hospital due to health issues, was recently transferred to AIIMS Hospital in Delhi for further treatment.

The president’s press coordinator, Khila Karki, stated in a news statement that the President himself wants to bear the expenses incurred during the treatment.

Congress General Minister Gagan Kumar Thapa stated on Monday that the President should shoulder his own medical costs.
