KATHMANDU: Nepal qualified for the 16th Asia Cup after defeating UAE by 7 wickets in the final of the ACC Men’s Premier Cup.

The remainder of the game was resumed on Tuesday morning after the game was called off on Monday owing to rain at the TU Cricket Ground.

Nepal accomplished the match’s target of 118 runs after losing three wickets in 30 overs.

Nepal, which has been selected for the 16th Asia Cup, will be able to compete in the match, which will be held in Pakistan in September.

The Asia Cup will feature six nations: Nepal, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

The crowd that gathered at the TU Cricket Ground to see the match between the UAE and Nepal was filled with joy. The victory was celebrated by spectators flying the Nepali flag.
