Nurse death case: Complaint registered against Dr. Dhakal & his father for incitement
Anuma's father, Gajendra Shrestha, had filed a complaint against them in the Balaju police circle, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Manojit Kunwar.
KATHMANDU: A complaint has been registered against Dr. Sujan Dhakal of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-16 Boharatar and his father Murali Prasad in the case of the death of Anuma Shrestha, a staff nurse working at Bir Hospital in Kathmandu.
Anuma’s father, Gajendra Shrestha, had filed a complaint against them in the Balaju police circle, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Manojit Kunwar.
The arrest permit was not taken after filing the complaint as yesterday was a holiday, and the police are preparing to take the permit from the court today, Tuesday.
On Saturday afternoon, staff nurse Shrestha was discovered hanging at Dr. Dhakal’s house.
According to the authorities, she was discovered dead in the chamber of Dr. Dhakal at Koshi Hospital, along with a suicide note.
She is said to have mentioned in a diary that Sujan did not want to get married and that she did not want to live as her family did not allow her to get married with him.
