KATHMANDU: The chances of resuming today’s interrupted match between Nepal and the UAE for the title of ACC Premier Cup cricket competition are dwindling.

The game has yet to resume after being halted due to rain.

The match will be played today only if the rain stops by 3 p.m., according to authorities from the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).

If the rain does not stop or there is insufficient time for 20 overs, the match will be called off today.

On the other hand, the pitch is muddy owing to the rain, therefore the prospect of playing today is diminishing.

If there is no match today, it will be restarted tomorrow with UAE having lost 9 wickets.

In today’s match, Nepal won the toss today and choose to filed first.

UAE batted first and scored 106 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 27.3 overs before the match was stopped due to weather.
