Gandaki CM Pandey took oath, two ministers also to took oath

POKHARA: Surendra Raj Pandey, the newly appointed Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, has taken the oath of office.

With the appointment of a new Chief Minister, preparations for the formation of a government in Gandaki have resumed.

Sushila Simkhada of the Maoists and Saraswati Aryal Tiwari of the Congress will join him as ministers.

Sushila Simkhada has not yet participated in the oath taking ceremony.

Although her name has been announced for her oath, she is alleged to have failed to arrive. It has been indicated that she will be present to take the oath in few minutes, hence the oath program has been halted.

Gandaki now has seven ministries. The previous administration decreased 12 ministries to 7.
