KATHMANDU: Two members of the House of Representatives elected in a by-election have taken oath.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire swore in newly elected MPs Rabi Lamichhane and Swarnim Wagle and administered the oath of office and secrecy.

They were given logos with oaths at a ceremony held at the Federal Parliament Secretariat some time ago. Lamichhane and Wagle were elected on behalf of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) from Chitwan-2 and Tanahun-1, respectively.

Upendra Yadav, the president of the Janata Samajwadi Party, who was elected from Bara-2, could not be sworn in as he is now in the constituency.
