KATHMANDU: The last 24 contestants vying for the title of Dabur Vatika Miss Nepal 2023 paid a visit to the Dabur Nepal Nursery in Banepa Thursday.
The finalists had the opportunity to learn about many environmental challenges and experience Dabur Nepal’s conservation initiatives during their visit.
Dabur Vatika Miss Nepal finalists also saw the world-class green-house facility, where they observed how Dabur is saving rare and endangered medicinal plants and employing them in its backward integration initiatives.

Arvind Rana, Head of Medicinal Plants at Dabur Nepal, emphasized the company’s support to the maintenance and preservation of the natural eco system by providing technological know-how in the cultivation of rare and endangered herbs.
This state-of-the-art greenhouse facility in Banepa promotes and cultivates critically endangered species across 24 districts in Nepal and through 50 cooperatives to transform farmers’ livelihoods through herbal growing as an alternative source of income.
