Request to conduct a campaign for dengue control

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has requested that a dengue infection control campaign be carried out.

The government today proposed that the campaign be held ‘every Friday morning at 10:30 for 10 minutes’ via a public notice.

“To control dengue infection, it is requested that all government and public offices conduct a 10-minute campaign every Friday morning at 10:30 a.m., with the participation of all employees in and around their offices,” according to the ministry.

Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari, Co-Spokesman for the Ministry, stated that the campaign was urged to undertake this effort in order to raise awareness about last year’s dengue illness in a timely manner.
