One dies from COVID, number of patients in the treatment room climbed to six

KATHMANDU: One more person infected with COVID-19 has died.
According to the co-spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), Dr. Samir Adhikari, one COVID-19 infected person died today.
COVID-19 infected people have increased by 111 today.
A total of 2,517 samples were tested, and 111 persons were confirmed to be infected with COVID-19.
Currently, the number of COVID-19 infected in Kathmandu Valley is 378, 18 are in institutional isolation and 6 are in intensive care & one is on a ventilator.
According to Dr. Abhiyaan Gautam, Head of Child Health and Vaccination Service Branch under the Family Welfare Division, the number of persons getting vaccinated against COVID-19 has also begun to rise across the country.
He stated that the vaccine campaign is focusing on people who failed vaccinations and advised everyone to vaccinate the first, second, and booster shots to visit the closest health centers.
