KATHMANDU: The murder of Nira Pandey Acharya of Baglung Badigad Rural Municipality is turning into a mystery.
Acharya, 35, was brutally murdered on the 8th Baisakh (April 21) by stabbing her inside the ‘Niru Kitchen’ hotel she ran on the busy Saraswati Nagar road in Kapan.
Even after more than a week has gone since Acharya’s gruesome murder, police have found no ‘hint’ about the culprit.
Nira’s family has begun to put pressure on the police to find the culprit as soon as possible. Nira’s family has even begun protesting in front of the shop where Nira was murdered.
As a form of pressure, residents and relatives of Saraswati Nagar, Kapan, blocked the road in front of the hotel where the murder occurred today.
The police have also organized a special commission to probe the murder.
Yogendra Acharya, her husband, also runs a second electrical shop away from the one where Nira was killed.
According to the police, even her spouse had no idea about the murder.
Nira has a daughter.
