Massive fire breaks out in Indira Gandhi Medical College & Hospital in Shimla, India

KATHMANDU: A major fire broke out at Shimla’s Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital on Thursday.
The fire was discovered in the attic of the hospital’s newly constructed OPD block, according to the indian media.
The fire, however, caused no casualties.

The fire broke out in the canteen located in the attic and serves food to hundreds of patients. The fire department, together with hospital personnel and townspeople, are now working to douse the flames.
There was a cloud of smoke all over the area as of the fire.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, according to officials.
