Gandaki to have new CM today
The state chief Prithvi Man Gurung has given the parties until today to claim the chief ministership.

POKHARA: Today, Gandaki State will have a new chief minister.
The state chief Prithvi Man Gurung has given the parties until today to claim the chief ministership.
Gurung, in accordance with Article 168 (2) of the Constitution, requested the formation of a government by 4 p.m.
However, the establishment of the administration has been postponed due to the Maoists’ retaliation.
The Maoists also claim to be under the leadership of Gandaki.
Leader Hari Bahadur Chuman has returned after meeting President Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’. He claims that the Chief Minister will only pursue the allegation if Prachanda requests it. The Congress has also obtained the signatures of the MPs who are necessary to submit the claim to the Chief Minister. The Maoists, however, have yet to sign.
According to sub-section (2) of non-formation of the government, according to sub-section (3), Congress Parliamentary Party leader Surendra Raj Pandey will be automatically appointed as the Chief Minister today. But according to Maoist leader Chuman (2) has said that the government will be formed.
