KMC to take action those who play politics in school

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has stated that action will be taken against the principal who permits political activities and programs to take place within the school.

The Metropolitan Corporation has issued a circular to all of its schools, threatening administrators who accept such a program with disciplinary action.

The decision was given after a complaint was received with proof of political party and fraternal organization programs still being held within the school, according to Metropolitan Education Officer Sitaram Koirala.

“We are informed not to hold programs of any political party and fraternal organization inside the school,” said the instructions issued by the metropolitan.
