On the occasion of the 24th Man Mohan Memorial Day on the 13th of Baisakh (April 26), leader Khanal expressed his great regard and admiration for the late Comrade Man Mohan Adhikari, Nepal’s first communist and well-known Prime Minister.
“The late Man Mohan Adhikari’s contribution to Nepal’s communist and democratic movements is significant and unforgettable,” Khanal writes. He only had the opportunity to lead the administration for a brief period of time. However, in a relatively short period of time, he was able to have far-reaching influence on Nepali politics and society, for which he will be recognized. Throughout his life, the late Man Mohan Adhikari dedicated himself to preserving the rights and interests of the country and the Nepali people. Even today, no Nepali can forget the policies he initiated during his prime ministership, such as senior citizen allowance and create your own village. As a result, I urge everyone to draw inspiration from his contributions to the Nepali Communist Movement and his remarkable efforts to achieve socialism via wide left-wing unity.’
