KATHMANDU: The counting of votes in Chitwan-2, which is well-known, will begin at 1 p.m.

The recently finished all-party meeting resolved to begin vote count at 1 p.m.

The vote will be counted at the Industry Association’s Exhibition Center. RSP president Rabi Lamichhane, Congress candidate Jit Narayan Shrestha, and CPN-UML candidate Ram Prasad Neupane are all contenders.

As many as 78,277 voters had cast their votes in the by-election in Chitwan-2.

The polling station’s perimeter has been reinforced. Walking is also restricted for ordinary people.
