Swarnim obtain 10,000 after counting 18,000 votes, how much of Govinda & Sarbendra?

KATHMANDU: The counting of ballots for the House of Representatives by-election held on Sunday in Tanahun-1 is still ongoing.

So far, 18,661 votes have been counted in 13 wards.

Swarnim Wagle of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party has retained his early lead in the polls.

He received 10,259 votes, while NC Govinda Bhattarai received 5,003 votes.

Sarbendra Khanal of the CPN-UML is in third position with 2,460 votes.
