Holiday in Kirtipur Municipality to commemorate the Ward President’s passing today
The motorcycle he was riding was involved in an accident on his way back from repairing the road to Champa Devi Temple.
KATHMANDU: Kirtipur Municipality has declared a mourning holiday in the city area today due to the death of Shyam Kumar Adhikari, Ward President of Kirtipur Municipality-4.
A police officer who was critically injured in a motorcycle accident on Baisakh 1 (April 14) died yesterday at Annapurna Neuro Hospital,Maitighar.
The motorcycle he was riding was involved in an accident on his way back from repairing the road to Champa Devi Temple.
The ward president Adhikari who was behind the motorcycle was seriously injured on the head.
The Kirtipur Municipality has informed that the funeral will be held after paying homage to him today.
He was elected as the ward president of Kirtipur-4 as an independent candidate in the municipal elections.
