KATHMANDU: The ACC Premier Cup Cricket match between Nepal and Saudi Arabia has been canceled owing to inclement weather.

The ACC Premier Cup cricket tournament has ten different countries. Group ‘A’ includes host Nepal, as well as Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman.
Nepal and Saudi Arabia were scheduled to play their third Group ‘A’ encounter at Upper Mulpani ground.
Nepal and Saudi Arabia shared the points in the ACC Premier Cup on Monday due to rain.
The game was called off without even a coin toss as the rain did not stopped.
Mulpani Cricket Ground’s covered pitch cover was removed once the rain stopped around 10:30 a.m. The outfield, on the other hand, was dried with a super sapper.
However, when it began to rain again about 11.30 p.m., the ground was once again covered with a cover.
Nepal had previously won two consecutive tournament matches. Nepal defeated Malaysia by six wickets in the opening match. Similarly, Oman was defeated by 84 runs in the second match.
Saudi Arabia was defeated by Malaysia by 8 wickets in the first match. In the second match, Saudi beat Qatar by 7 wickets.
Nepal leads the group with 5 points from 3 games. Saudi Arabia comes in third place with three points. Nepal is already through to the quarter-finals. On Thursday, Nepal will play its final match against Qatar.
