Chitwan 2: Voting resumes in Krishnapur Secondary School

BHARATPUR: The halted polling in Krishnapur Secondary School in Bharatpur Metropolitan City 7 under Chitwan Region No. 2 has resumed as part of the by-election for members of the House of Representatives.

The voting was temporarily halted after protesters chanted slogans outside the polling location.

The voting process has been restarted.

After opposition party representatives chanted shouts against RSP candidate Rabi Lamichhane, voting was suspended for 30 minutes.

The commission also decided to prosecute anyone who broke the code of conduct, and voting was resumed.
