Voting halts in Krishnapur Secondary School & Naya Kiran of Chitwan

KATHMANDU: Voting in the by-election for members of the House of Representatives in Chitwan Constituency No. 2 has been suspended in two voting stations.

Voting has been halted at Naya Kiran Kamal Kusum Secondary School in Bharatpur Metropolitan Municipality 11 Bhojad and Krishnapur Secondary School in the metropolitan’ Ward No. 7.

Voting was delayed at Naya Kiran Secondary as the opposition booed Rabi Lamichhane supporters. Similarly, polling in Krishnapur was postponed due to Rabi Lamichhane’s resistance.
