Palpa bus accident update: Injured woman dies, 38 injured

PALPA: A woman died in a bus accident in Jordhara located in Tinau Rural Municipality-5 of Palpa on Sunday morning.

The woman who was hurt in the accident died on the route to the hospital.

Radhika Poudel, roughly 40 years old, died in the accident, according to Palpa Police Spokesperson DSP Birendra Thapa.

This morning, a passenger bus carrying passengers from Butwal to Baglung met with an accident near Jordhara in Palpa’s Tinau Rural Municipality-5.

According to Thapa, the bus’s 38 injured passengers were rescued and transported to Lumbini Medical College.

Thapa said that six of the injured are in serious condition.
