PM’s directive to arrange registration of vehicles manufactured in Nepal
The Prime Minister stated that he takes seriously the media reports that automobiles manufactured in Nepal, notably the 'Yatri,' are not registered and working, and has directed the Chief Secretary to finish the appropriate procedures as quickly as feasible.

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has directed that the draft law for the car registration procedure in Nepal be expedited and that an incentive strategy be implemented.
This morning, Chief Secretary Shankardas Bairagi stated that there have been concerns that automobiles manufactured in Nepal are not registered, and he has directed him to draft a registration law to address public complaints and to establish a policy to support Nepali industry.

Following the Prime Minister’s directions, the Chief Secretary directed the Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supply, Madhu Marasini, to immediately create and submit a draft law governing the registration and promotion of Nepalese-made automobiles.
