Govinda voted in Tanahun, Swarnim & Sarvendra can’t vote for themselves

POKHARA: Gobind Bhattarai, a coalition candidate, cast his ballot in Tanahun.

He voted in Byas-11 at the Parbati Basic School polling station.

Swarnim Wagle of the RSP and Sarvendra Khanal of the UML will be unable to vote.

So far, voting has been conducted discreetly, according to District Election Officer Hari Prasad Dhakal.

According to him, 152 of the 69 polling locations in Tanahun 1 are open for voting.

For the by-election, 750 staff and approximately 2,600 security personnel from all three levels have been recruited.

There were 123,305 registered voters in the by-election.
