Rabi is unable to vote as the voter list does not match the constituency he represents. He is a contender for Chitwan-2, and his name is on the Kathmandu-6 ballot.

KATHMANDU: Rabi Lamichhane, the Rastriya Swatantra Party’s candidate for Chitwan Region No. 2, and Ram Prasad Neupane, the CPN-UML’s candidate, will be unable to vote for themselves.
Rabi is unable to vote as the voter list does not match the constituency he represents. He is a contender for Chitwan-2, and his name is on the Kathmandu-6 ballot.
According to reports, UML’s Ram Prasad Neupane is also not on the voter list in that area. In this region, candidates include Nepali Congress’s Jeet Narayan Shrestha from the Democratic-Left Alliance, UML’s Ram Prasad Neupane, and Rastriya Swatantra Party’s Rabi Lamichhane. Along with them, 22 candidates are running in the election.
Alliance candidate Shrestha has already voted at the Chaturmukhi Higher Secondary School polling station in Kalika Municipality’s Shaktikhor.
The by-election was held as the Supreme Court overturned Lamichhane’s election as president of the RSVP from that area in the previous election owing to a citizenship dispute. Lamichhane received three times the number of votes as Congress candidate Umesh Shrestha and was elected to the House of Representatives on November 20.
