12th edition of Nepal-European Union Film Festival in offing
Nepali film actress Miruna Magar has been appointed as the goodwill ambassador for the 12th edition of the Nepal European Union Film Festival.
KATHMANDU: The 12th edition of Nepal European Union Film Festival is taking place April 28 through May 15 at three places of the country.
The Delegation of the European Union to Nepal is organizing the film festival with the theme of ‘Celebrating Human Rights for All’.
“Eight European and as many Nepali short films have been included in this year’s edition. This year’s theme for the film festival has been chosen as we are celebrating 2023 as the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights,” said Ambar Mainali, the information officer of The Delegation of the European Union to Nepal.
According to Mainali, the film festival will be organized at the Far Western University, Mahendranagar from April 28 to 30, at the Mid-West University in Surkhet from May 3 to 5 and at the Film Development Board hall in Kathmandu from May 12 to 15.
