Nepal lost the toss, invited to bat
The match between Nepal and Oman will be an ICC One-Day International (ODI), and it will be Nepal's 50th ODI.

KATHMANDU: Under the ACC Premier Cup, Nepal will bat first after losing the toss against Oman. Oman captain Zeeshan Maqsood won the toss and decided to field first at TU Cricket Ground.
Karan KC has been included in today’s Nepali team. Karan has been included in the playing XI in place of Gulshan Jha. Nepal’s playing 11 consists of captain Rohit Paudel, Kushal Bhurtel, Aasif Sheikh, Kushal Malla, Aarif Sheikh, Sompal Kami, Dipendra Singh Airee, Karan KC, Sandeep Lamichhane, Bhim Sarki, and Lalit Rajbanshi.
The match between Nepal and Oman will be an ICC One-Day International (ODI), and it will be Nepal’s 50th ODI. In the ongoing event, Nepal defeated Malaysia while Oman defeated Qatar.
Nepal handily trounced Oman in the previous practice match. However, of the six one-day matches played between Nepal and Oman, Oman has won four and Nepal has won two. Nepal appears to be able to capitalize on the fact that it will play in front of its home crowd.
The hosts Nepal, Oman, Qatar, Malaysia, and Saudi Arabia are in Group A of the 10-team competition. Group B is made up of the UAE, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Singapore, and Bahrain. The tournament will be held from April 18 to May 1 at TU and Mulpani Cricket Grounds. Each group’s top two teams will proceed to the semi-finals. The winner squad will compete in the Asia Cup against India and Pakistan.
