Reaching Bara, PM said – “Upendra Yadav’s victory means the country’s victory”

The prime minister said this while addressing the election meeting organized by the power alliance parties in Gadhimai of Bara to win the victory of Upendra Yadav, the Chair of Janata Samajwadi Party and the candidate of Bara Constituency No. 2, on Thursday afternoon.

BARA: Prime Minister and Chair of Nepal Communist Party Maoist Centre Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda said that the foundation stone of Nijgadh Airport will be laid soon.

The prime minister said this while addressing the election meeting organized by the power alliance parties in Gadhimai of Bara to win the victory of Upendra Yadav, the Chair of Janata Samajwadi Party and the candidate of Bara Constituency No. 2, on Thursday afternoon.

He said, ‘During the inauguration of the Pokhara International Airport, I said that we will soon advance the Nijgadh Airport. I express my commitment to you, the foundation stone of Nijgadh Airport will be laid soon after completion of the homework related work. Initiatives will be taken to make Gadhimai a center of international tourism. It will be protected and promoted by forming Gadhimai Development Committee. The checkpoint which was closed during COVID will be reopened. Irrigation will be arranged through electric irrigation system. Under the leadership of Upendra, the government will pay special attention to the development of this sector.

“This time, we have a president who will not make knots, but will loosen knots,” the Prime Minister remarked. This issue will be resolved in the long run.’

‘Previously, revenue had declined, and theft had soared,’ stated the Prime Minister. The economy was in shambles. However, the economy has recovered recently. The number of tourists has grown. The country’s foreign exchange reserves have grown. We have contributed to the social security fund of millions of Nepalis living in other countries. This is a significant step toward prosperity.’

“Upendra Yadav is the leader of the country, he is the leader needed for the Parliament,” the Prime Minister remarked, adding that “Upendra Yadav’s victory means Madhesh’s victory.” Not only Madhesh, but the entire country, should triumph. The Federal Democratic Republic is going to triumph. To win, the subject of overall change must be addressed. This coalition was founded to safeguard and strengthen the constitution and democracy. As a result, after Upendra is elected, let us broaden the path to democracy, constitutionalism, and prosperity.’

Former Prime Minister and Chairman of the Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba, Former Prime Minister and Chair of the CPN Unified Socialist Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chair of the Janata Samajwadi Party and candidate for Bara Constituency No. 2 Upendra Yadav, Leader of the LSP Jeetendra Sonal, and others spoke at the meeting.
