SURKHET: The bailey bridge across the river Bheri that connects Jajarkot and Rukum Paschim beneath the Bheri corridor collapsed, injuring nine persons.
The Bailey Bridge fell on Thursday afternoon while people were strolling across it, according to the police.
The under-construction belay bridge fell at Tallu and Rukum Pachim in Jajarkot Nalgad Municipality-12, according to Jajarkot police, injuring nine people. 4 is in a serious state.
The police claim that the injured are being transported to Delhi Health Branch for treatment.
