Eelection race of top leaders including PM, reaching Chitwan after seeking vote for Upendra in Bara

All the top leaders of the coalition parties would reach to Bara 1 after the election assembly's preparations are finished in order to support the coalition's candidate Upendra Yadav, according to Congress leader Ramesh Lekhak.

KATHMANDU: The top leaders of 4 parties, including the Prime Minister, are in the running for the by-election. They asked for votes in favor of Congress candidate Gobind Bhattarai in Tanahun on Wednesday.

Pushpa Kamal Dahal, the leader of the Maoist Center and the current prime minister, will address the election meeting at 11 a.m. in the courtyard of the Gadhimai temple in Bara. Other speakers include Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN Unified Socialist Party Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal, and Loktantrik Samajwadi Party Chair Mahantha Thakur.

Through a statement, the parties that make up the current ruling coalition have also urged everyone to support the coalition candidates who have been put up in each of the three constituencies.

The top leader will reach Chitwan after addressing the meeting in Bara. A general meeting of the alliance has been scheduled at 3:00 p.m. at the campus football ground in Padampur, Kalika municipality.

Regarding the Chitwan 2 by-election, it has been decided that the main leader along with the party chief will reach Chitwan to address the workers in the election meeting of Jit Narayan Shrestha of Nepali Congress, who has become a candidate on behalf of the alliance.

Prime Minister Prachanda, Congress Chairman Deuba, CPN-S Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal, Janata Samajwadi Chair, and former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai will all speak at the meeting, according to Surya Aryal, Secretary of Congress Chitwan.

Bishwa Prakash Sharma, Shekhar Koirala, and other prominent figures from the Congress will speak on the program. All program preparations, according to Secretary Aryal, have been completed.
