City into Champions League semi-final

KATHMANDU: Manchester City has advanced to the UEFA Champions League semifinals.

Following a 1-1 tie in the second league beneath the quarterfinals against German club Bayern Munich, which was completed last night and won by a final score of 4-1, Manchester City advanced to the semifinals.

Joshua Kimmich tied the score for Bayern after Erling Haaland gave Manchester City an early lead. In the recently concluded first league, Manchester City defeated Bayern by a score of 3-0.

Now Manchester City will face Real Madrid in the semi-finals. Inter Milan defeated Benifica 5-3 on aggregate and reached the semi-finals and now Inter Milan and AC Milan will meet in the semi-finals.
