Indian PM Modi wished good health to President Poudel

KATHMANDU: Ram Chandra Poudel’s health is in the best of hands, according to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Poudel, who is receiving treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi (AIIMS), has been wished a swift recovery by Prime Minister Modi, according to the Nepali Embassy in Delhi.

Following a problem with his lower chest, President Poudel was flown to Delhi on Wednesday.

The president of Nepal, Poudel, has a stable health status, the embassy reports.

President Poudel was admitted to a teaching hospital in Maharajgunj on Tuesday. According to the doctor’s advice, he was taken to Delhi for further treatment.
