KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) will take action against anyone who creates obstacles or waste on the road while constructing physical constructions, including roadside buildings.

The metropolitan has stated that dust, bits of construction materials falling on the road, construction materials heaped up in the road box, and creating impediments on the road should not be done during the construction of residences and physical structures.
Similarly, the metropolitan has said that the trenches made by inserting sewers and pipes in the box should be filled and sloped or pitched by the competent agencies, and that any construction work on the road should be done only after 8 p.m.
The metropolitan has also indicated that the road or box that will be built should be fenced off, that signs should be erected, and that if this is not done, the metropolitan can pick up building materials and remove them at any moment.
