KATHMANDU: The effect of the high pressure system in Nepal will remain stable for a few more days. According to the weather forecast division, the system effect will remain stable.

Today afternoon, the weather in Kathmandu will change. ‘Before that, the weather will be mostly clear,’ said the department, adding that ‘even if the weather changes, there is no danger of rain in Kathmandu.’
There will be no rain in Kathmandu for at least three days. The smog in Kathmandu will persist till the rains arrive. Because of the absence of rain in Kathmandu over the last few days, pollution levels have risen.
According to the division, the weather will remain clear in the majority of the country today, with partial showers in the country’s hilly sections.
There is a chance of light/momentary rain with thunder/lightning in a few places in the country’s hilly parts of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim States, as well as a few other places. Wind and storms are possible in a few Terai areas of Lumbini States.
