Nabil Bank CEO Dhungana honored with ‘Prabal Janasewa Shri’ medal

KATHMANDU: Gyanendra Prasad Dhungana, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nabil Bank, has been honored with the ‘Prabal Janasewa Shri’ medal.

President Ram Chandra Poudel recognized Dhungana as ‘Prabal Janasewa Shri’ after long recognizing his contributions to the banking industry.

Dhungana, who has over two and a half decades of banking expertise, was the CEO of Nepal Bangladesh Bank for ten years.

He was previously the General Manager of Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank.

Dhungana resigned as director of Rastra Bank to work for a private bank.

He has a Chartered Accountancy degree from India and a Master’s degree in Certified Public Accountant and Financial Analysis from Australia.
