Complaint to halt piracy of the movie ‘Jaari’

KATHMANDU: Producer Maniram Pokharel filed a complaint for investigation after the movie ‘Jaari’, which was screened on the occasion of New Year, was piracy.

It has been shared on social media platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. The film is shot at a movie theater. This has done us a lot of harm,’ he said.
Pokharel claims that as such issues have occurred in the past, a complaint has been filed seeking a long-term remedy. Previously, his group’s movie ‘Kabaddi 4: The Final Match’ was also pirated.
Upendra Subba’s film ‘Jaari’ stars Dayahang Rai, Miruna Magar, Roydeep Shrestha, Rekha Limbu, Prem Subba, Anil Subba, Puskar Gurung, Kamal Mani, and more Nepali actors.
According to the producing company, the film grossed more over Rs 4 crore (40 million) within two days of its release.
