Dr. Chandra Bhandari’s video message – I am cured, additional treatment will be done in Nepal
He also stated that he will return to Nepal shortly.
KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress MP Dr. Chandra Bhandari has said that his health is gradually improving. He gave this information while releasing a video message to wish him on the occasion of New Year 2080.
He delivered the video message from the National Burn Center in Mumbai, where he is being treated. ‘Due to my health, I am unable to engage with you,’ said MP Bhandari in a video message. My health is improving as a result of your affection, goodwill, love, and prayers.’
He also stated that he will return to Nepal shortly. “Soon I will be present with you and treat my health there,” he continued, “and I wish everyone a Happy New Year.”
On Feb 15, he was critically injured in a fire in his home caused by a kitchen gas leak.
Harikala Bhandari, his mother, was killed in the incident.
He was initially treated at Kirtipur Burn Hospital before being flown to Mumbai by air ambulance on Feb 16 for further treatment.
