Let’s meet after getting a clean chit from the court: RSP MP Shrestha

KATHMANDU: Dhaka Kumar Shrestha, a Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP who was embroiled in the telephone recordings scandal of seeking Rs 20 million from industrialist Durga Prasai, has stated that he is innocent.

He announced this today while preparing for a press appearance at the party headquarters.

He has stated that he has gone to court, claiming that the recording leaked as his voice defamed him.

He stated that he went to court for a fair investigation and that once he receives a clean chit from the court, he will conduct another press conference to prove his innocence.
