Legality of the apartment construction process should be sought: Toshima Karki

KATHMANDU: MP Toshima Karki said that the legality of the apartment construction process should be sought.

She also sought action against individuals engaged in the Summit Apartments construction in Lalitpur’s Bakhundol Heights during a hearing in the House of Representatives on Wednesday.

‘Because the building is being built without the agreement of the local people, I urge an investigation by constituting a parliamentary committee,’ she said. The nearby houses were completely destroyed during the Summit Apartments development. The cooking procedure is still ongoing. Despite numerous complaints from locals, no action has been taken.’
