Voting for the FNCCI’s new working committee begins
The 57th General Assembly of the umbrella organization of the Federation of Industrialists is going to hold elections for the new leadership of the Federation today.

KATHMANDU: Election is being held today for the new leadership of the Federation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI).
The 57th General Assembly of the umbrella organization of the Federation of Industrialists is going to hold elections for the new leadership of the Federation today.
The general meeting was held on Tuesday.
Senior Vice Chair Chandra Dhakal Vidyanath will automatically be elected as the Chair from the General Assembly, while elections will be held today for the positions of new Senior Vice Chair and other members.
Voting began at 8 a.m. and will continue till 4 p.m. at Nepal Academy Hall in Kamaladi, Kathmandu.
Umesh Lal Shrestha, Anjan Shrestha and Ramchandra Shanghai have already announced their candidacy for Senior Vice President.
The senior vice-president of the federation elected in this way will automatically become the president for the next term.
The general assembly will elect a new 64-member working committee of the federation.
Accordingly, the district/city will elect three vice-presidents, one each from commercial, objective and associate.
14 members from the objective association, 18 members from the trade association, 19 members from the associate working committee and 7 members from the district will be new leaders in the central working committee.
