Council of Ministers decides to take necessary steps to take away the garbage from Singha Durbar

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to take the required steps to clean up the Singha Durbar.

This decision was made at the Cabinet meeting on Tuesday.

The meeting also voted to take seriously the mayor’s allegations about not collecting garbage from Baluwatar, Singha Durbar, and Sheetal Niwas, which is against Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) regulations.

The conference also voted to endorse the proposal received from the Council of Ministers’ Infrastructure Committee to define the maximum limit of pesticide residues in imported and manufactured food.

The Cabinet also agreed to appoint Govinda Acharya as the Prime Minister’s press adviser.
