Policy of prioritizing the usage of Nepalese products should be implemented: Industry Minister Rijal
He stated that the regulation to utilize Nepalese products should be applied even if it is 15% more expensive.

KATHMANDU: Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Supply Ramesh Rijal has stated that using Nepali products should be prioritized.
He remarked this during the opening ceremony of the Federation of Nepal Industry and Commerce’s general meeting.
He stated that the regulation to utilize Nepalese products should be applied even if it is 15% more expensive.
According to Rijal, if such a structure is put in place, Nepali manufacturing will have access to the local market.
Similarly, cordial interactions between the three ministries are essential for the development of the industrial sector in particular. He stated that coordination between the Ministries of Forestry, Land Reform, and Industry is required.
“We don’t have time to wait a long time for the economic problem to be solved,” he said, ‘for this, everyone should coordinate and move forward.’
