BHAKTAPUR: The famed Biska Jatra, which is thought to be over 1500 years old, has religious, historical, and cultural significance in Bhaktapur and has begun today. (Chaitra 27th).

Biska: Jatra, which begins with the new year of Bikram Sambat (BS), began today with the pulling of Bhairavanath’s chariot from the front of Panchtale Nyatapola temple in Taumadhi, transporting the chariot of Nakinju Azima to Gahiti. Biska: Beginning today, Bhaktapur will celebrate Jatra for eight nights and nine days.

The original idol of Bhairavnath and the idol of Betal Bhairav ​​are seated on the wooden three-story chariot built in the pagoda style after worshiping according to tantric methods, and the chariot is started pulling the chariot from the Nyatapola temple premises in Taumadhi.
