RSP apologized to Parliament in instance of Dhaka Kumar Shrestha’s audio
During a House of Representatives emergency meeting on Monday, the RSP's chief whip, Santosh Pariyar, apologized on behalf of the party for regarding the incident.

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has apologized for the audio of MP Dhaka Kumar Shrestha bargaining for money to become a minister got public.
The audio of RSP MP Dhaka Kumar Shrestha demanding Rs 2 crore from businessman Durga Prasai to become health minister was released in the media on Sunday.
During a House of Representatives emergency meeting on Monday, the RSP’s chief whip, Santosh Pariyar, apologized on behalf of the party for regarding the incident.
He apologized, stating the case had harmed the members of the House of Representatives’ honor. He stated that an investigating committee has been constituted, that required action would be done, and that the incident will not disrupt the party.
He apologized saying that the case had also harmed the dignity of the Parliament. Chief whip Pariyar also made it clear that the National Independent Party considers the campaign against corruption and good governance as its main campaign.
