KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has resigned from the Karnali State government.

Following the exit of the CPN-UML from the government constituted today in accordance with the agreement between the CPN-Maoist and the UML, it has been confirmed that the Nepali Congress would participate in the government.

Binod Kumar Shah, Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning, Jeet Bahadur Malla, Minister of Industry, Tourism, Forestry and Environment, and Tekraj Pachai, Minister of Social Development, have all resigned in front of Chief Minister Raj Kumar Sharma.
