RSP issued statement, said – We will investigate the audio in Dhaka’s voice

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has stated that it has taken serious attention of the news that an audio recording of party MP Dhaka Kumar Shrestha seeking money has gone public.

The party stated that it will investigate the truth of the telephone call (audio) in Dhaka’s voice.

It also stated that it has directed the party’s Central Investigation and Conduct Committee to conduct an investigation and provide a report within three days.

“Dr. Shrestha has been instructed until this investigation is completed,” the statement stated. “In addition, the Central Discipline and Conduct Committee has directed Dr. Shrestha to submit an explanation in this regard within 24 hours.”
