Dhaka Kumar no longer in contact with us: Spokesperson Dhakal

KATHMANDU: Mukul Dhakal, the Rastriya Swatantra Party’s spokesperson, has stated that Dhaka Kumar Shrestha, the party’s proportional MP in the House of Representatives, has not been in contact with us.

Dhakal stated that he is no longer in contact with the party following the emergence of an audio in which he demanded Rs 2 crore from industrialist Durga Prasai.

‘He is not in contact with us today,’ he added, ‘he sent a message on WhatsApp’. I got trapped in a prepared trap. In the message, he stated, ‘I did not do this task.’

He claimed that when the recording got public, MP Shrestha was suspended by the party despite being an ordinary member.

“The party has a central discipline and conduct department that investigates and submits a report within seven days,” he explained. Then it will be knows just what to do. He was not even dissatisfied with the party. If this is proven, his position as a member of parliament may also be revoked.
