KATHMANDU: The stock market fell on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

On Thursday, the NEPSE index declined by 28.31 points to close at 1838.48.

Similarly, the sensitive index, which gauges large company share turnover, fell 4.24 points to 348.79 points.

The NEPSE index slipped 8.28 points to 1866.77 points earlier on Thursday.

Over 92 million rupees were traded on the same day. Despite a drop on the NEPSE on Sunday, turnover climbed.

A total of 38 lakh 43 thousand 713 shares of 268 businesses were purchased and sold, for a total transaction value of more than one billion 150 million rupees.

Similarly, the NEPSE index has seen an increase in 15 businesses. 201 businesses are declining.

In terms of turnover, Nabil Bank and Shivam Cement are at the top. These businesses have transacted for Rs. 5 crore 78 lakhs.

The most hydropower index has decreased by 2.35 percent.

Approximately 10% of Kalinchowk Darshan’s shares have been traded. This company has made the most money.

Sanima Growth Fund shares worth 6.46 percent have been traded.
